MASTER PROJECT E-REPORT

PLEASE SUBMIT MASTER PROJECT E-REPORT (E-THESIS), SYNOPSIS AND TURNITIN DOCUMENTS (FOR MP2 STUDENT ONLY) NO LATER THAN

6 FEBRUARY 2026
(FRIDAY)

E-Thesis means a revised Master Project Report, signed by the Supervisor, compiled as a pdf file and bound with an official UTM Thesis front and back cover.

Unlike Final Year Project report for undergraduates, which are shorter in length and scope, a Master Project report is an extensive scholarly paper that allows you to dig into a topic, expand on it and demonstrate how you have grown as a graduate student throughout the program. Graduate schools often require a thesis for students in research-oriented degrees to apply their practical skills before culmination.

Regardless of the topic or field of study, your thesis statement should allow you to:

  • Help prove your idea or statement on paper
  • Organize and develop your argument
  • Provide a guide for the reader to follow

Once the thesis is completed, students usually must defend their work for a panel of three or more department faculty members.
